Amazon Black Friday: Friday

It’s the final day of the Amazon Black Friday sale. Today I’m are fairly certain that the 4gb Xbox 360 will be on sale for £50.

However, the deals today start at 3am, and I am not staying up that late. You’re on your own for this one, and when I wake up, I’ll assess the situation and update this post with all the information you need.

Head here to see what’s available when (it’ll probably update at midnight).

Update:
Here are the upcoming game deals:
08:45am DJ Hero 2 & Turntable, Wii
06:00pm Shaun White Skateboarding Xbox 360/PS3/Wii
09:00pm Xbox 360 (fairly sure it’ll be the 4gb version for £50).

If they put the xbox on at stupid o’clock, I shall be really annoyed.
I’d also be surprised. What would be the point?

To build up hype and get people on the site, some of them are bound to buy something.

The PSP GO is on sale at 4:30 am. Anyone know what price it will be?

  3. The xbox is the last deal, on at 9pm.

Ah, the finale. That makes sense.
Also means competition is going to tough. Everyone’ll be at home at that time.

Not everyone. Some people go out on Friday nights.

        That’s probably their thinking anyway.

Good point. Oh the uninteresting life of a PhD student.
Too many snot nosed teens will be up around then though.

      Only £30 off? Bit rubbish.

glad I didn’t wait for that

Damn, unsurprisingly I didn’t explain it at 4:30AM. There was zero stock, the PSPgo started out ‘Expired’ with 0% ‘claimed’, and Amazon quickly yanked the deal as if it hadn’t happened in the first place. Really, really poor form, although that’s been the case all week really.

Tempting to put in an order for 3000 xbox’s and then cancel them to tie up stock LOL

    Well.

It came up for £50, I was waiting, pressed add to basket as soon as it appeared, it spent 20 seconds spinning waiting in queue then said out of stock.

I’m still in the queue almost 20 minutes late :S
I’ll have to leave my browser open just in case but I think it’s safe to assume that I missed out. There is no way anybody could have clicked faster than I did without the use of controlled substances 🙁

This is meant to be a great way of bringing attention to Amazon to get some more sales right? If anything it’s irritated more than evoked good will towards them. I’m fucking fed up of the number of times i’ve clicked within a fraction of second, in fact i don’t even recollect seeing the add to basket button. Did i ever get anything? Like fuck i did. In my mind there is another criteria that amazon is working by; Does this person spend a lot of money on amazon? What’s the point is a good will gesture if that person doesn’t spend a lot of money there right?
