Single player game that requires an always-online connection to access unlocks and modes, some of which were present in the previous game and didn’t require a connection then. Boycott until they come to their senses. The offline mode is so bare bones it seems like it was only put there so people would be tricked into thinking the game isn’t 100% online. It would have been like if SimCity had lauched with an offline mode that restricted city size for computational reasons, people would have believed the lie and there wouldn’t have been such a huge scandal.
