I keep getting tempted by this offer (it seems to come up a lot), but are CD Keys legit? Is this a grey market key where none of the money ends up with Avalanche?
CD keys have an excellent track record for customer service, if I ever have concerns about the legitimacy of a retailer when linking to them, I’ll include a disclaimer.
I am under the impression that they are simply bulk buying copies of the game from regions with lower prices, and then passing the savings on. Which would suggest that the keys have indeed been paid for.
The keys certainly originated with Avalanche, or at least the publisher WB. If the keys were stolen, I’m sure WB would have revoked them by now (and I am confident CD keys will refund/replace a key in the event of it being revoked).

Thanks, Lewie! That’s put my mind to rest.
