Thanks for the heads up, I just bought PoE as per your directions. However I haven’t received a key yet. If I’m understanding things right Nuuvem says that the key will be provided on the 26th on release day.
How do you know that the key will be region free if there actually isn’t a key yet? Could Steam themselves impose restrictions on those keys before the 26th? I wonder if I should try to revoke the purchase since the saving for me isn’t big enough to risk a locked key…

Is anyone else getting 404/405 errors when trying to access their nuuvem account or trying to buy this? I’ve tried it with two different computers now and keep getting said errors, hola seems to be working correctly as far as I can tell
I was having the same problem as you with Nuuvem. It was working fine from the UK, but I was getting 404s when logging in “from Brazil”.
I used Hola to pretend I was in Argentina and it all worked fine after that. However I now notice that Lewie has some extra info regarding purchases using Hola. I assume his method works. If not, try mine. I imagine any South American country will be fine.
The Argentina-method worked! Thank you so much for the tip, I’ve been wanting this game since they announced it on kickstarter and my measly student budget is dependent on tricks like these to afford buying games 🙂
I get a 404 when trying to pay for this with Paypal. Hola seems to work up to that point.
I couldn’t log into my account with Hola activated either. I logged in without Hola, then switched Hola on and bought, that worked.

Didn’t work for me, as soon as I disable Hola to do the payment, the cart is emptied with the message “Um ou mais games estão indisponíveis ou você já os possui.” (or in english: “One or more games are unavailable or you already have them.”)
Steps I followed:
1. Disable Hola
2. Log into Nuuvem
3. Enable Hola
4. Add game to cart
5. Press the “Finalize order” button with paypal option selected, and Paypal opens in a popup window
6. Disable Hola
7. Cart is emptied with the above message
I think they either fixed this “workaround”, or I’m doing something wrong.
I jsut bought it via Nuuvem 26th.3. and I did just what you did.
I pressed the “finalize payment”-button
choose the “log into paypal”-button
a secure https-window pops up with the usual paypal loginscreen
disable Hola
everything reloads but the cart still stays the same
log into my account with the secure https-window, get the RS-amount with the conversionrate in paypal
pay, game is in my library
If you turn hola off on the first window of PayPal where you can only choose between “log in” or “create new account” it won’t work though, had to fiddle around a bit.
Currently installing this gem.

Just successfully bought this using the method above on 28/03/2015. Key was received immediately and registered fine on steam. Cheers for the tip off.
