Battlefield Hardline: Ultimate Edition, PS4 – £3.95
Battlefield Hardline: Ultimate Edition, PS4 – £3.95
This has the game, a handful of DLC from the Deluxe edition, and a Premium subscription, which gives you more DLC.
I have a sliver of doubt about this one, but it’s such a good deal I figured it was worth sharing anyway, perhaps you can help me fill in some of the blanks.
There is currently a misprice for Battlefield Hardline: Ultimate Edition on the Czech Republic PSN (cheers to Míla for the tip off). It’s priced at 129,99 Koruna, equivalent to £3.43. You might need to sign out of your main PSN account to see it.
The aspect I am not sure of is language support. PSN for some reason doesn’t have any mention of whether it comes in English. I’m inclined to assume it does (especially as Czech PSN is only available in English itself), but I have been unable to confirm this myself. If anyone can provide clarification on this matter, please do so in the comments.
You can use a Czech payment card, or use a prepaid card. You can buy 2×100 Koruna prepaid card here for ~£5.28. You can also use a UK credit card to add 150Kc to your wallet, which may be easier – although no promises that all cards will work. Current exchange rate for 150Kc is around £3.95, but your card provider will probably have a slightly different rate and charge a fee on top of it for a foreign transaction.
Will’s gone through the process to buy it it a card, and has written a guide if you’re struggling:
You’ll need to register a Czech PSN account. While you can do this on http://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com, we’d recommend doing it on the PS4 itself, as there are some steps that you need to do on the console that you can’t on the website. Use a valid Czech address – I used a hotel I stayed at on a holiday once. Set this PS4 as the primary PS4, too.
First, head to the PlayStation Store. You’ll get a message pop-up – accept this, it’s just letting you know that the store is only available in English – which is good news for us. Search for Battlefield Hardline, and make sure you get the Ultimate edition – the regular or Deluxe editions are far more pricey. You might need to flick through the full index from the search rather than using the suggested results. Double-check that it’s still priced at 129,99Kc.
Then, go to the dashboard, and head to Settings > PSN > Account Information > Wallet > Add Funds. Pick the credit card option, choose to add 150Kc, and proceed with your regular UK credit card. Put in the regular billing address, but change the postcode for a valid Czech one. It should proceed and add 150Kc to your account. This’ll only work on the console, not the store website.
You’ve now got enough funds to cover the purchase. Just to be safe, now head back to the wallet section, go to Billing Information, and delete the saved card. That means that if they do attempt to charge the full price (over £100) that it won’t come from your card and will simply fail. It’s not likely that they’ll do this, as the preorder confirmation has the price of 129,99Kc, but best to be safe.
Go back to the Store and preorder the game for 129,99Kc. Job done, and you’ll get a confirmation.
To get it to preload automatically and to be playable on your main account, your PS4 needs to be set up as your Czech account’s primary PS4 – you probably already did this. You’ll then need to find it in your library, hit X on the countdown (not the blue pre-order bar, as that’ll have you buying the regular edition for 1799,99Kc), and go through to setting what you want to auto-download. Make sure everything in the list is selected.
All being well, you’re all sorted. If you preordered the game from the store previously without funds, you can simply add the funds to your wallet and they’ll take payment out of it a few days in advance of release. The Czech Republic is an hour ahead of the UK, so it should unlock an hour before midnight on the day of release. If you change your mind at any point between now and then, you can cancel your preorder from Settings > PSN > Account Information > Wallet > Transaction History. If you want to cancel between payment being taken and release, you can do it from http://eu.playstation.com/legal/cancel – although as you won’t be able to get the payment for the PSN credit back, you may not have a lot of reason to.

The website to buy the credit, appears to be very strange. They do not seem to take card payments or pay pal, They want a bank transfer, It may just be a bad translation by Google chrome, But I can’t see any other options.
Yeah, it was similar for me. After ‘checkout’ I ended up with an email with an account number that I needed to transfer money to. I’ve requested to cancel the order.
You can complete the pre-order on PSN without funds in your wallet. I’ve done that and will see if they do any sort of correction/cancellation. Gives some time to figure out the funding issue.
Please let us know how you get on with the funding issue. I’m in the same situation and would appreciate your assistance. Thanks
If you don’t have czech credit card, you can only add funds to your wallet through PS4:
Settings>PSN>Account Information>Wallet>Add Funds
Regards.
Its the biggest gaming e-shop in our country and in Slovakia
that website now allows cards as payment but they still do not work, the payment is automatically declined, i hope there is another similar website
i have also completed the initial preorder but worried about if the order will be cancelled or not because its not allowing me to set my card to allow auto payments
The new funding option provided doesn’t appear to be any better, They do offer card payments, but require them to be verified via SMS. However they will not accept a UK phone number.
HOW TO FUND
So, I pre-ordered on the web store, but couldn’t fund through either the first or second option.
However, using a CREDIT CARD, I was able to log into the account on my PS4 and add funds. I added a game to my basket, then screwed up by selecting “ORDER AND PAY”. That bought the game I had added – flOw, if you’re curious – and left my wallet with some cash in it.
What I should have done was pick Add Funds. I did this, added 150, and it went through. So now my wallet has 164 (with the change from flOw). I’ve deleted my card info, and we’ll see how it goes in 10 days.
TLDR: Use a credit card and add funds logged into the account on your PS4, not on the web store.
Thanks for this, dude – I did something similar and it appears to have worked wonderfully. I’ve edited the post to include a guide.
I went on to the Czech PSN account and put my own credit card details in with my “Czech” address, fingers crossed it works
The way I’ve done it (hopefully) is:
1) On my PC I registered a Czech PSN account. I used the Prague Library for the address, the postcode is 110000.
2) I set my payment method to the usual card I use on UK PSN, with my regular address BUT with the Czech postcode I used in step 1.
3) Added that account to my PS4 and set is as the master account as usual.
4) The PS Store on my PS4 was showing the bundle at a much higher price, so I went back to the Czech store on my PC, which was still showing the 129,99 price, so I clicked pre-order. I got an email confirming my pre-order and notification that I would be billed nearer release.
5) In case my card got declined when they tried to charge it, I went back to the Store on my PS4 and bought a piece of Driveclub DLC for 21,00 (or something else really cheap would work). I then chose ‘Add Funds’ and added 300,00, then carried out the transaction. I got emails confirming that funds had been added to my wallet, and the purchase of the cheap bit of DLC.
6) As I now had 279,00 in my Czech wallet, which would cover the pre-order, I went back to my PC and removed my card details from my Czech account.
I have no idea if they will honour this price in 10 days time, but if they do, that’s how I paid for it. I hope it’s helpful.
Actually I’ve just realised it’s much easier than all that.
Follow those instructions up to number 3. DO NOT pre order Hardline at this point. Instead, skip to number 5.
At this point, you should have a cheap bit of DLC and 279,00 in your wallet.
Go to the Czech store on your PC and delete your card details.
THEN, still on your PC, find the Hardline bundle in the store, and pre order it. It should take the price out of your wallet amount.
You’re done!
u can just simply add fund with your uk credit in Czech?
cezch psn i mean
They’ve taken it down now. Wish I came across this sooner. The store page for the ultimate edition doesn’t exist anymore. They’ve cottened on
Just received a notification that my pre-order has been cancelled. Scumbags.
Meh, they’re within their rights to do it, and there’s a decent argument that we’re taking unfair advantage here. Would have been nice to have prior notification, though.
Yep, also received a notification that my pre-order has been cancelled. Too good to be true. Waste of my time and money.Had to try though.
Same, I’m glad I didn’t put any money on the czech psn as there was always a high chance this was going to happen. I would love to kick up a fuss but I doubt I will get any where.
