I had UK address as invoice address, but seems that my account is bound to another country in uPlay, so that might be it. although the error when activating, just says it’s already used, and nothing about regions – although that might be misleading, and it actually does not allow to activate it because of region lock.
The problem was solved by amazon (new activation key), could activate it on my non-UK uplay account without problems. So I think the problem was not region lock, but actually a used key was given the first time.
Ubisoft did not respond to my support question…
Just bought this and can’t activate on my uPlay account… wrote to support, let’s see what they respond.
I noticed this on the product page:
Downloading: Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United Kingdom and who have a U.K. invoice address.
Are you located in the UK with a UK invoice address?
