Using Hola unblocker, access origin.com from India. Search for “Assassin’s Creed Unity”. Go through the purchasing process, and disable Hola once you are asked to log in with your Origin details.
Registers on uPlay.

Will this require Origin to play or do you get a code to punch into uplay and in that way bypass Origin? (I don’t have origin and don’t want to use it for one game)
You will be able to play it without Origin. Not sure if Origin is required for initial install/setup, but it’ll work without Origin once it is on your uPlay account.
I made use of this deal recently for Far Cry 4, the order went through fine at first and the game was added to my library. Unfortunately I think EA may have become aware of this exploit as a few days later the game was removed from my library and my order status had automatically changed from ‘complete’ to ‘cancelled’. I was never charged in the end but figured i’d let people know all the same, I don’t know if this was just me or if this will happen to everyone.
it seems more like a credit card/bank issue
Your FarCry 4 will still be there. In origin select Show> Hidden Games. then click on your FarCry and in its game details select Unhide in library. It will then be on your main Origin screen again.
same thing happened to me, i think that ea/origin does not like it when i pay the 50% off price now,
i wonder if anyone got to keep theirs?
I can confirm it’s definitely not in my library even under hidden, and seeing as the order status is cancelled I wouldn’t expect it to be. I did consider the possibility that my bank may have refused the transaction as it may have appeared to them that I was trying to spend X amount of rupees, which would no doubt look suspicious. If this were true however, i’m surprised my bank didn’t notify me of suspicious account activity.
All the same, good luck to those who do decide to try it!
Will all the cd key sites, SimplyCD Keys, etc be accepted by the publishers for this game?
Great deal, but i also preordered this a few weeks back and today it was still showing as processing. Spoke to ea but they are having issues processing orders for a couple of days now so after the middling reviews unity has received I’ve cancelled my preorder.
Has anyone who bought from origin manged to unlock the game early with vpn ?
I had my codes from origin it came in an email you use the codes on uplay and download from there
I bought in October for £27 inc the season pack and extras
Has anyone got this to work? I’ve gotten further than others but have hit a brick wall which I’m not sure I’ll be able to get through.
So unlike others Origin did not remove the game from my account after buying via India, and I was sent the activation code yesterday. However there is a pretty serious problem here, as Uplay will not accept the activation code as it is from another region (here’s a picture off the message: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/683235/unity_activation.jpg)
Now I presume the code is locked to the Indian region. The problem is as Uplay is a stand alone client I cannot trick it via Hola unblocker, and I haven’t been able to find a free Indian VPN to try to connect Uplay through. I’m not even convinced that would work though, as Ubisoft stores a suspiciously non-editable country location in your Ubisoft account information.
This stuff is always a bit of a crapshoot, but I’m a bit disappointed if Savygamer posted this deal up with “Registers on Uplay” written in it, when they had not confirmed that it actually did in any useful way.
I have managed to get this to work.
You have to go into your uPlay settings, then Network, then allow uPlay to use a proxy connection and change the proxy type to forced. Enter in an Indian IP and port, Google one or try some from here:
http://proxylist.hidemyass.com/search-1299677#listable
Then save and go into offline mode, come back online and try again. Once it has successfully logged you in using the Indian proxy it should allow you to redeem your key(s). When done, you can remove the forced proxy, go offline and back on again and everything should still work fine.
