After spending nearly an hour on the support chat (most of it waiting to get through, admittedly), it would seem that my order had got “stuck” and all they could do was cancel it.
Going to give it another go…
Ok, second attempt (using a different PC, just in case) reached the same stage and has again, stalled.
Could just be something to do with my account (although normal purchases have never been an issue).
Meh… guess I’ll have to wait for a UK-based deal (or pay full price).

Is it a uplay code or do you have to play on origin? Only asking as I have it pre ordered at retail and wondered if i could play multilayer with my son using this code as I’m sure the retail will be uplay only.Thanks James.
uPlay. All versions will use uPlay, not matter where you get it from.
