Not a great PC port.

Update: I’ll elaborate since people have asked. The PC version, much like Trials Evolution before it, has pretty terrible performance. Framerate is really unreliable unless I have all the settings turned down low, on a PC that doesn’t have much trouble with any other newish games. There’s also horrific texture pop-in every time you die and restart (which is pretty often). I just ended up buying it on PS4 too. Console version runs much better, although still has issues with texture pop-in. Plus there’s all the uPlay gunk.

These issues are somewhat acknowledged by Ubisoft here, with fixes apparently on the way. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Ubisoft will fix a bad PC port when pigs will fly.

I guess I’m lucky because I haven’t really had any problems with the frame rate in this game on PC, but the texture pop in is pretty awful.

Also whenever I had a page open in the steam overlay that would really hit the frame rate hard and eventually crash the game which is pretty horrendous!

Oddly, it’s been just fine for me, bar the usual texture pop-in that happens on every version of the game on every platform (and did with Evo, too). Solid 60fps at maximum settings.

Unlike Evo, which I needed to turn all the bells and whistles off and drop to 1280×720, despite having a GTX770.
