Sony PS4 – £175

Sony PS4 – £175 collect in store.

Bit of a convoluted one this, but worth it for the price.

Mightydeals will currently sell you a £10 Curry’s gift voucher for £5 here. These are one per Mightydeals account, but if you create multiple Mightydeals accounts, you can purchase many gift cards. I’ve sent you to the mobile site, because that’s the only way to use paypal for payments, and any other payment method they appear to be blocking after you’ve used the same card a certain number of times.

You can use multiple gift cards in one transaction, essentially meaning you can get anything that Curry’s sell for half price. I have confirmed this myself.

It takes 24 hours for Mightydeals to send you your gift voucher, and although the instructions say you need to print it out, just displaying the gift card number on your phone will suffice.

I have no idea if/when Mightydeals will run out of gift vouchers, and whilst the Curry’s I used had no problem stacking multiple gift cards, I guess it’s possible your branch might.

A PS4 costs £349 at Currys, so you need 35 gift cards, at a total cost of £175.

One way to do multiple accounts is a lot of email accounts have the ability to do “plus addressing”. For example you could do name@gmail.com, then name+mighty1@gmail.com, then name+mighty2@gmail.com and so on. It would be seen as unique emails by Mightdeals (I’ve yet to test mind) but would all go through your own gmail account. (It’s a great way to sign up to a place and find out who is selling your details. If you get spam to your name+currys@gmail.com then you know where it came from.

Love/Hotmail/Outlook offers “Aliases” which are similar but a bit convoluted http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/outlook/add-alias-account

so i did all the 35 giftcards with the multiple email accounts trick (using “.” as that works as well reading up on it) and the money has been taken out of my paypal and it’s been more than 24 hours, but logging in into the accounts with the full stops in now say i dont have any deals

I’m currently investigating this situation, I’ll hopefully have a update for you all by the end of today.

I am fairly confident that worst case scenario is going to be getting a full refund.
