CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK! – Wondering if it was ever in stock…
I have discovered that these low priced PS3 games are never in stock @ game.co.uk. Starting to wonder if the low prices are some kind of place holder or something for out of stock items on the website.
As an example Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection has been £2.99 at game.co.uk for the last few weeks (been looking at reliving some Metal Gear memories with the launch of the latest game and my free copy of Peacewalker on the PS3) but it has never been in stock. Toukiden on the PS Vita is also £2.99 on game.co.uk but has yet to be in stock – what… recent PS Vita release out of stock Oo alarming? Suprising? Suspicious?. I have sadly been checking every day hoping to bag a bargain but have yet to fill my bag. So I guess their prices for out of stock items are working as I am refreshing their pages every now and again? You decide!
And the list of low priced out of stock items goes on…
Perhaps you should post the preowned price of £10.00 (not so arousing) as the deal instead (this is in stock).
Honestly though with the new sexy version of X-com out surely we should all want to buy that (well if we own a PS3, like turn-based tactical role-playing video games (what a mouthful ^_-) and can find it for a fiver that is ^_^)?
X-Com Enemy With In – Not currently £4.99 at game.co.uk ^_^
Gosh wondering if you should post all the places the games are not cheap instead of the places they are…
This just seems to be the way game.co.uk get rid of old stock. I picked up COD:BLOPS 2 and Doom 3 on PS3 for £2.99 each the other day and I’ve bought other games for around the same price before. Like you I missed the MGS collection (and SC:Blacklist, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 LE and COD:Ghosts all for the same price too).
It’s frustrating when you miss them because once they’re gone they don’t tend to come back in stock but they stay on the site for ages.
