This has probably been covered for other games, but if you already own Trine 2 on Steam (but not the Complete Story extras), you will not be able to register this to Steam. At least, this is what’s happening to me.
Hmm. I don’t know if this is still the case, but you used to be able to contact steam customer service and request they remove games from your account. Perhaps that would work here?
