I recommend against this one, if you’ve any distaste for pretentious non-games. I liked Gravity Bone. This simply left me vaguely irritated, a sour taste left in the mouth at its pretentious absence of… anything. Buy Atom Zombie Smasher by the same guy, instead.

    • I give the absolute opposite recommendation. Aside from Atom Zombie Smasher, which is great.

I admit I didn’t like 30 flights of loving either. It’s 15 mins long tops, and it also crashed 3 times. There’s really not much of a game to speak about, since it’s more of an exercise in short story writing and narrative style, but there’s no gameplay or interaction to speak of, and I’d add, but it’s clearly a personal preference, I didn’t like the pulpy story either.
Atom Zombie smasher instead if a little funny strategy game where you have to decide quickly whether to let some people die to save most of them, or try your best to save more. After a while it gets repetitive, but it isn’t bad.

I think if you’re interested in games, then this one is certainly one to check out based on its level of creativity. However, it is much more of a spectacle than a ‘game’. It’s also only 20 minutes long but it does come with Gravity Bone (which is otherwise free but support indie devs etc etc etc). Also something about developer commentary. Steam says I’ve played it for 2 hours, so there’s some mileage in it if you want to play through it a few times.
