Grand Theft Auto 5, PS3 – £23.56
Grand Theft Auto 5, PS3 – £23.56
Gamestop are running an offer where they will sell you GTA5 for £4.97, plus two trade-ins from a selection listed here.
Included in the selection to trade in are Alien Breed Trilogy & Batman: Arkham City, available for £9.59 and £9 respectively.
If you buy these two games, and then use them in conjunction with this trade in offer, you will be paying a total of £23.56 for GTA5. It’s entire possible that other games on this list will be discounted to prices lower than £9.59/£9 between now and when GTA5 comes out, so it might be worth waiting a while (although it’s also possible that these cheap games to trade in will no longer be available), and obviously if you own any games from that selection that you already want to trade in, that might be a better option.
Better to use F1 3DS (£5 from CEX) and Dead or Alive 5 PS3 (£8 at CEX), bringing the total to £17.97. I’d still wait tbh, they said the list is final and there is still 2 months left for prices to drop further.
Really good to see they have GTA5 on that list. That’s a steal.
This sounds great, but I find the following line in the terms and conditions a little iffy:
“9. GameStop also reserve the right to refuse to accept any game for the purpose of this GTA: V Trade-In Offer at their discretion without giving any reason.”
Bit vague no?
