How uplay works is that you install the game from wherever you bought it from, and then the uplay client will detect it, and it will be added to your uplay account.
There might be another way of doing it, but that was my experience with Far Cry 3 bought from Impulse. I bought it from Impulse, installed it via their client, and then it was added to my Uplay account and now I can install it from Uplay. Maybe there is an easier way of doing it, but that’s how I did it.
I assume that this standalone expansion works in much the same way.
Just a quick question: Is it certain this will register on UPlay? As the store page states “Capsule client required”.
