Registers on Steam.
To purchase digital games from Amazon US, use your UK Amazon account, and add a US billing address to your account. This address needs to be a valid US address, but nothing will be sent there, and you can access all your games through their website. Some card issuers may charge a fee.

Will this even download as it has yet to be released in the EU?
You can activate it on Steam, and download it, but it will remain locked until it’s released in your region.
Unless you were lucky enough to play it before they remembered it wasn’t out yet and enabled the lock \o/
I can just run the .exe as for whatever reason Valve haven’t “re-encrypted” the files.
ps thanks Burton!
Is it just me, or has Amazon.com altered something to prevent purchases from tthe EU? One-click is set to my US delivery address, and has never failed before. Guess they’re either chevking ip, or billing address now too.
It’s always been billing address, delivery address doesn’t matter for downloads.
Even thought it won’t be unlocked until February, I decided to buy it now, as I don’t think it hasn’t been this cheap before. Steam only did a %10 sale on this, if I recall correctly. Thanks for the heads-up, Lewie.
I got this despite the risk of not being able to play it over here yet because it’s so cheap.
It seems Amazon now use Steam for distribution anyway? I went to download and install, and it just downloaded a file telling me how to use Steam. Oh well!
I’m still glad I got it at this price, even if I can’t use it.
Silly nonsensical publishers.
