It seems like a great deal on price but I’m really concerned about the implications of buying a French model, not only on the hardware front but on the software. What if there’s no language option for the home menu or multilingual games run in French by default?
Assumedly that won’t be the case, but it still seems a bit risky. Probably gonna hold out on this one.
I really doubt there won’t be any language options. All modern systems are multilenguage in Europe because it’s much more expensive for Nintendo to develop single-language interfaces for every main language in Europe. If I were you, I would definitely buy it, as it’s worth the price and it’s the best deal out there right now. I personally don’t mind the box is in French – all instructions manuals use to be multilenguage too, so there’s no need to worry on this at all.
