I give this game a personal recommendation for the following reasons:
1- It looks beautiful when it’s green and vibrant with it’s cel-shaded graphics.
2- The music is gorgeous.
3- I personally like the two main characters more than any past prince of persia game.
Or in short “it looks pretty”.
I know it’s dumbed down and it’s by far not even a slightly challenging game to play (irritating actually with the light-seed gathering) but … I really enjoyed it for around the same price a year ago. If you’re willing to accept the lack of challenge and just run around a pretty looking platformer, I recommend this game. As far as re-boots go, it’s not the worst ever and I’ve played all the prince of persia games (except the 2010 one … and I couldn’t finish warrior within due to the horrible PC port).
Just thought I’d share, worth a buy in my opinion.
