£15 off when you preorder any two selected games

Pick any two games from this selection, then apply coupons “10GS-1” and “5SPEND25-1”, and you will get £15 off your order.

It’s pretty fantastic pricing, with combos like Rage & Skyrim on the PC together for a total of £38.60 delivered, or any two of the £39.90 games for a total of £64.80 delivered.

Edit: This deal has now expired. The code “5SPEND25-1” for £5 off a £25 spend is still valid, but the code for £10 off when you preorder any of the two selected games has now ended.

Tesco only deliver in UK ?

    • Lewie Procter #

      Indeed. UK only.

      • nofing #

Too bad, that would’ve been a great deal.

I had previously only bought Rage with the coupon for 5 pounds off so I couldn’t add that coupon when I tried to order 2 other games. Had to make a new account (just a different e-mail address) and order them instead which works fine.

  3. If you have a clubcard, you can add the voucher code 200ccaug-1 to get an extra 200 points on the order too.

    Hurrah for offer-stacking!

  4. XFLow #

damnn you guys in the UK are very lucky

  5. Wow, that is cheaper for two games than a single game on Steam for me.

  6. WeeJocky #

    Cheers Lewie, sweet deal.

  7. Gartt #

What are tesco like with delivering for release date?

  8. Matt #

Awesome offer. Do they only charge you when the game comes out? I haven’t had an email or anything from them.

    • Lewie Procter #

      They charge upon shipping.

  9. Mana #

10GS-1 – You can’t use that promotional code here.

not sure why that is, only the 5 quid voucher applied…

    • Mana #

ignore that – basically I had Rage in my basket already and it got confused. Cleared everything out and readded everything and it seems to have worked now. Thanks for your daily deals! 🙂

Does anyone know if Batman registers on GFW-L or is it CD only??

    • Lewie Procter #

Arkham City is a GFWL game. I presume it will be pretty similar to the first game, in that it will be a minor annoyance if everything goes well, but I heard of a lot of people having trouble with the encrypted saves.

      • Chris #

You could not transfer saves across different operating systems on the same pc that was the only issue I had with them but it was a bugger when not being able to access all the challenge maps when I reinstalled

        • Lewie Procter #

Yeah, your saves are tied to your windows install, so you can’t move them between PCs, and will lose your save if you ever reformat.

But beyond that, I heard of a lot of people just flat out losing their save for no reason. Presumably a consequence of the save encryption.

Seems pretty fucked up to me that a developer would place preserving the integrity of achievements over a decent save system, but I’ll just deal with it and moan if anything goes wrong for me.

          • Bryn #

Thanks for the help. Does it only run on CD then, no download to HDD like in steam? I won’t be changing computers after I get my new one though, so thats good!

          • Lewie Procter #

I’m not too sure, not all GFWL games are the same, and I got the previous one from Steam, rather than the disc version.

I’m fairly sure (in principal) it will install off the disc, with a single GFWL activation after install, then you are set to go. The only trouble is if it doesn’t work as it is supposed to, which seems to be pretty common for GFWL.

What’s the cheapest you can buy PC Skyrim for by itself? With this and the code, it’s £22.90. Is that the best?

    • Lewie Procter #

Yep, that’s the best price for Skyrim going atm.

  12. Adam #

Does anyone know what the Gears of War 3 priced at £47.97 is? Thinking it is the Limited Edition but they provide no information on the product page and they have a cheaper Gears of War 3 also on the 360. Hmmmm.

    • Lewie Procter #

That’s my thinking too, but they aren’t very good at making it clear which version of games you’re ordering.

      • Adam #

Hmm ok so if you search Gears of War 3 you get steel book edition in brackets next to the £47 game but then the LE is £66 which is more expensive then pretty mure everywhere else. Pretty confusing.

  13. Dragon #

Just a shame it’s only rage regular edition, not anarchy, that they’ve included, as they’re the same price.

    • Dragon #

Or are /all/ editions shipped pre launch going ot be anarchy?

  14. Jockie #

Cheers Lewie! Just in time for payday too.

  15. muzza #

Nice one, bf3 and rage for £43 🙂

  16. Chris #

I must admit I am very tempted by rage and Batman for £38.40 I already have Skyrim at £20.40 from an earlier promotion. Think I will wait for now simply due to having a job.

  17. iainl #

Arrgh. Real pity this hasn’t got Forza 4 in the offer, as that’s the one game I might consider preordering…

  18. OK when I try the 10GS-1 code nothing happens.

Also am I the only one who adds two items to their basket and £10 doesn’t come off? How does it work.

I’m trying to pre-order MW3 and SKYRIM for PC.

    • Lewie Procter #

Looks like you have just missed it. Seems it was limited to the first 500 customers. You can still get either one of those games at a reduced price with the other coupon. Skyrim for £22.90 is still the best price going.

      • Ah pitty!

Still that was an incredible price.

Still a great price for Skyrim.

        Thanks Lewie.

    • Stubbs #

Yeh i added the 10GS-1code then the other one which removed the 10GS-1 one now the code wont work. i get ‘you can’t use that promotional code here’. trying to pre order skyrim and arkham city for pc.

      • Stubbs #

ugh just missed it or wasted a code then. just my luck

  19. mcmUK #

I pre-ordered Rage this morning when you posted the offer. Saw this post later and thought I’d pre-order Skyrim aswell, so I cancelled my first order but now it won’t let me use the code as it’s already been used on my account. Bit annoying. I guess I’m off to register another account…

    • mcmUK #

And now it’s expired! Har har!
