Civ 5 is down to £6.78. Excellent price. Steam sell the standard edition for £30 so their, inevitable, 66% reduction on one of the Sales days will only bring it down to £10. Even at 75% reduction would leave it at £7.50. As this is a Steamworks game, buy it on gamersgate, register it on Steam and enjoy the currently reduced DLC prices (which may drop even further in the sale)
Tomorrow’s deal looks to be 66% off Civ 5 – which, given it current price, should take it down to around £6.50ish which is an excellent price.
If new to the series, I’d recommend Civ 5 as it’s easier to pick up. Civ 4 is a superior game though, in my opinion.
