The weird thing about this is that I don’t think there actually is a “Limited Edition”. This is the listing of all the different versions, and there is a Collectors Edition, Augmented Edition and normal edition. No mention of a Limited edition.

It’s probably worth ordering at this price, and seeing if Amazon update their listing before release if you are interested.

On that note, I’d greatly appreciate any tips on the Collector’s Edition – the cheapest I’ve found so far is shopto.net for just under £75

I’ve not seen anything better than that either, but we’ve got til August, and I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Something’s going on. Since you posted the above, the listed price on the Augmented Edition for PC has jumped to £34.91, up from the £25 mark you linked to on the 1st (http://savygamer.co.uk/2011/05/01/deus-ex-human-revolution-augmented-edition-pc-25-91/).

Do you think they’re going to do what Crytek did for Crysis 2? As in, as far as I found, in the run up to that game’s release the only version you could order was the “Limited Edition”, even though it was available every where and not limited in any way.

It wouldn’t surprise me if there was no “normal” edition of DE:HR. Just the “Limited” (which is the normal one, plus some pre-order in-game gubbins ala Crysis 2), the Augmented Ed (which would be closer to what we’d have traditionally called the Limited Ed) and the Collector’s Ed.
