Westward, PC – Free

Never heard of this before, neither has nofing, who tipped me off to it.

Any clues?

No idea about the game itself, but I do know that every time I try and go to the checkout it applies the price again. Putting the code in throws me back a page so I’m just stuck in a loop.

    Same thing happening here.

    Same here.

    (10ch?)

I had absolutely no issue getting the game. Simply clicked the link on the site, entered the coupon code (D2DCASUAL), logged in to D2D (I didn’t know I had an account but it offered me a one touch login) and then I had the game.

  5. Works for me, did you type it in in capitals?

Thanks, Lewie and well-spoken man who tipped you off.

Make sure you apply the promotion code D2DCASUALUK in on the D2D page!

Yep I’m stuck in a loop too, and I did use capitals.

No joy for me either. Tried it with Firefox and IE just in case.

Tried firefox and chrome. Right now, whenever I go to checkout, my cart is emptied.

I have an account and I’ve bought before in D2D, so this probably is some error on their part.

I have one of the Westward games – they’re all right, your usual RTS but with a more casual approach to them.

    Ah, got it!
You have to select a payment method then re-apply the code just before you confirm the purchase, then you get it for free.

Got there eventually but what a shockingly poor online store!

Well, I had no problem buying the game with the discount offer, I just can’t _play_ the game.

Whenever Westward starts up it claims to be the trial version and tells me I need a serial number to unlock it. I didn’t receive one from D2D so I’ve NFI what to do.

This feels like a very cheap attempt to farm gamer contact information.
