I don’t know anything about these racing sims, but they are on sale.
GamersGate have got a big old bunch of Racing Sims on sale this week, but I don’t know anything about them, or which ones are the best deals.
You can see them all here.
RACE 07 & STCC: The Game should register on Steam (according to this anyway).
I’m normally much more useful than this aren’t I? Please share any wisdom you have on this topic in the comments.
Race 07 is a very good sim, but not worth getting unless you really want a proper simulation. It’s basically simulation first, game second. The GTR expansion is worth getting if you like Race 07 if only for the better menus and more cars.
If this STCC The Game package includes RACE 07, (http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DD-STCC/stcc-the-game), then I’d be inclined to nominate it for pick of the serious sims. If not, I’d be inclined to say that the RaceOn bundle on Steam is better value.
Nothing else really got my attention. TrackMania United for half price is nice, but I’ve seen it for a fiver retail.
