But do I get a free PS3 version if I get it on PC?
I’m afraid that there’s going to be some catch, so I’m afraid of making a decision just yet…
I have heard that, once you’ve activated the PC version, Steam blocks you from playing the PS3 version while Portal 2 is running on your PC and vice versa. I’d imagine they’ll be ways around it (offline mode) but you’ll have to buy two copies if you want co-op.
Awww, that would foil my brilliant plan of attempting to buy the PS3 version simply to use the Steam code and then trade it back in!
Thats what we are all waiting to find out. It is a steamplay title isnit it?
There’s also the £23.99 version if you get together with a friend on steam which I think might also come with a free copy of portal.
I just got the double pack on Steam, accepting £24 paypal gift from anyone who wants the other copy.
