I don’t know why this game is hated so much. I think its good.
I have played most Metroid games (2D and 3D) and I think this one is a good direction for the series.
It plays like the GBA versions (Zero Mission and Fusion) and is just overall a good game, in terms of graphics, audio and gameplay/structure.
The main reason people hate it is because the actual reasons for not having particular abilities is dumb and they turned the stoic bounty hunter into a whiny stereotype with daddy issues.
Still, if it’s essentially 2p, it might be worth suffering through.
It’s not necessarily that it’s bad in the grand scale of all games ever, and more that it’s bad in comparison to all the other metroid games.

Tempting, but I’m still not sure if it’s worth it. It is meant to be absolutely terrible.
Though, the CEX exchange is currently £10, that may go down due to this.

This is a good game. Dont call any attention to the haters.
