Xbox 360 250gb + 18 months of Orange Broadband – £122.50 for Orange mobile customers

Update: It’s unclear whether this is the 250gb version or the pointlessly small 4gb version. I’ll update when I know for sure. Either way, it’s still a good deal.

You have under 48 hours to take part in this deal.

I think I’ve understood this deal correctly, but it’s a little complicated, so bear with me if not.

If you are an Orange mobile customer (PAYG or Contract), you can potentially get 18 months of “up to 20mb” broadband and a brand new 250gb Xbox 360 for a total of £122.50.

Step 1
Head here to check if your landline is in an Orange network area. If you are, proceed to step 2.

Step 2
Go to Groupon, and buy a voucher for £10. This voucher will get you 3 months free Orange broadband and an Xbox 360 250gb, when you commit to an 18 month contract (at £7.50 a month).

Step 3
Head back to Orange and register for their broadband.

Step 4
Once your broadband has activated, phone 0800 953 5790 and quote the coupon you got from Groupon, and within 2 months you’ll get a shiny new Xbox 360.

I think I have understood this offer correctly. Total cost is £122.50 for the Xbox 360 and the 18 months broadband. The Groupon page is all of the information I have access to.

    Some stuff that needs to be pointed out/investigated, though:

    *The £122.50 excludes line rental on the tariff they’re explicitly mentioning. I’ve yet to find out whether it applies to the other broadband tariffs also.

    *You’re saying the 360 is the 250 GB version, but I can’t find any mention of that anywhere. MoneySavingExpert are saying it’s the 4 GB version. It’s a pretty big deal. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/cheap-xbox-360-deal

      I said it was the 250gb version because it is shiny (the 4gb one is matt) but I can’t actually see any mention anywhere of which version it is. Hmm…

      Will look into it more in the morning.

    Okay, so to update everyone on this. I’ve just phoned Orange and they’ve told me:

    it’s the 4 GB Xbox 360 S; and
    you have to go with the Broadband and Off Peak calls package to be eligible for the deal.
