CODBLOPS price watch
There are lots of deals around, some of the rubbish, some of them OK. Here are the OK ones:
Tesco
CODBLOPS + 2,100 MS points, Xbox 360 – £42.49 delivered
Not a bad price if you were after some points anyway. Since the points of their own are usually around £15, the effective price of the game is £27.49. Available in store too.
CODBLOPS + £20 PSN credit, PS3 – £45 delivered
Not a bad price if you were after some PSN credit anyway. Since the credit on its their own is £17.89 delivered, the effective price of the game is £27.11. Available in store too.
Sainsbury’s
CODBLOPS, Xbox 360/PS3 – £27.97 when you buy £30 worth of other stuff in store.
Best Buy
CODBLOPS, Xbox 360/PS3 – £29.99 in store
GAME
CODBLOPS and Halo: Reach/Fallout: New Vegas/Another other game, Xbox 360/PS3 – £58.98 delivered
Apply coupon “MVCXmas10”
HMV
CODBLOPS, Xbox 360/PS3 – £7.99 + trade in of Medal of Honor in store.
Coolshop
CODBLOPS, PC – £33.77 delivered
Here are the rubbish ones:
Blockbuster
CODBLOPS, Xbox 360/PS3 – 99p when you trade in any two out of Medal of Honour, Fable 3, Fallout New Vegas, MMA, F1 2010 or Star Wars: Eff You too. You’ll get £60+ trade in for any two of these at gamestation via CEX pricematch, which will get you CODBLOPS and change.
I shall update this if any more deals get announced, but as of now I’d say probably make plans to head to Sainsburies, Tesco or Best Buy if you are hoping to get it at midnight.
Isn’t it Sainsbury’s rather than Sainsburies ?
The trademark police will get you :p
thanks for putting all deals in one place though.
I always make that mistake :/
I’ve just read on Hotukdeals that Sainsbury’s are apparently playing silly buggers – you can pick up the game at midnight, but you will not be able to do any shopping – so you can;t get the discounted price with £30 of shopping (beer) until the morning.
Not confirmed if true or not though …
No news on Asda? Lots of 24hr stores are doing big events I think.
Any word on the supermarket prices for the PC version?
No, and there probably won’t be. I don’t even know if super markets will be stocking it.
I’m hoping the big supermarkets will have it as its such a big release. My local ASDA (which is small) had some copies of COD:MW in last weekend.
Its a small hope, but I really dont want to pay Steam’s price (as much as I like Steam, but full price and no pre-order bonus?), but I live in the back of beyond 🙁
Edit: according to Tesco website, even if they do have it in store it’ll be £34.99 :/
My finger is definitely hovering over the steam button
What’s the story today, now that it’s out? Where’s the cheapest place to find Activision and Treyarch pretending like they had a single thing to do with either Modern Warfare game?
