CODBLOPS, Xbox 360/PS3 – probably £25 in store at Sainsbury’s

I’ve had multiple independent tip offs that Sainsbury’s are going to be selling this at £25 on release day. Either it’s true, or someone has done a good job at spreading a baseless rumour. It’s likely that they would publicly announce it at least the day before, and it would be a limited time offer. I don’t like posting deals I can’t confirm, but I think this one sounds pretty likely.

If Dixons group stores are selling it for £40, and Sainsbury’s do have it for £25, then it would be £23.50 via their pricematch.

I’ll keep you up to date as things develop.

From what I’ve heard from my mate who works at Sainsburys it’s £27 if you spend £30 instore, 1 per customer

    • I’ve heard the same, Shredders.

I’m still waiting on a deal for the PC around £25. If you see that price anywhere, for any format, snap it up, because you won’t see BLOPs go below it for a long while. CoD is just about the only franchise, apart from Blizzard’s stuff, where the three-month price-drop trend doesn’t apply. Grab it while it’s hot.

Still, a good offer to use whilst doing your weekly shop!

I’ve heard you only qualify for the deal if you arrive at the store by camel.

I’m waiting on a PC deal too, although it’s unlikely as there are no PC deals for COD ever on the midnight releases or supermarket price wars

You get it for £8.99 if you turn in a unspecified insurgent that looks almost exactly, if not quite, as if it may have been operating in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Not sure if they’ve changed it, but pretty sure that Dixon’s price match doesn’t include supermarkets.
