800 MS Points when you spend 2,400
I realised that I mentioned this in the Super Meat Boy review, but haven’t actually given it’s own post.
Microsoft are giving you 800 points back if you spend 2,400 in the month of October.
Used in conjunction with this offer, that’s potentially 5,000 MS points (RRP of £42.83) for £25.98
Anyone recommend some good, preferably exclusive, games to get for 2400 points?
I was thinking:
Splosion Man
Rez HD
Ikaruga
for 800 each. Go or no go?
I had a good look through what games I’d endorse. Here’s my favourite XBLA games:
400 points:
Space Giraffe
800 points:
Braid
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2
Mega Man 9
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
1,200 points:
Darwinia+ (although I’d say the PC versions are better)
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Monday Night Combat
Shadow Complex
Limbo
Give the demos of any of them you’ve not yet played a try.
Can’t go wrong with Rez HD or Ikaruga. Splosion Man is pretty great too, although a horrible horrible boss fight means I’ve not been able to play any more than the first 1/3.
Super Meat Boy is the shit. Really fucking good.
If you’re not sure what you want, why not wait and see what the weekly special deals are for the next two weeks.
