Naughty trick: Unlimited Zavvi/The Hut 10% off codes
Update: Looks like you can’t get these free points any more, or at least you need to actually have a code from a Walkers packet. Previously received codes still seem to work fine. Cheers to Kelduum for the heads up.
Would you like unlimited (until they’re gone) single use 10% off anything (max spend £100) coupons for Zavvi/The Hut? Follow these instructions:
1. Click this link
2. Hit “register” and sign up with any details. Does not need to be a working email address or anything.
3. Hit “tell us more” to get 2 “savings points”. The infomation does not need to be accurate, and you do not need to give them your postcode. (This part seems to not be rendering correctly in Chrome for me. If you can’t get it to work either, try a different browser).
4. Then hit “Rainy day savings” at the top, and select the 10% off coupon from either Zavvi or The Hut.
5. Make a note of the code. Log out. Rinse and repeat as desired.
Don’t tell them you heard it from me.

Looks like they’re wise to this now – it states they’ve emailed me my code (obviously I entered in a fake ‘un) so no code….

They do email it, but I just checked again, and the code is also displayed on the web page.

Still working for me, I get
“Thank you, your unique code is: xxx-xxxx-xxxx
We have emailed a copy of your code to your email account. ”
Except those ‘x’s are the actual code of course.

Hrm, it still works for me. Are you sure you’re doing it right? I recommend you try again 🙂

The errors of my ways revealed – Firefox and it’s many, many plugins. A rookie mistake, feel free to ignore my earlier post

I’m starting to run out of puns to use for names…

You’re a bad boy Mr Proctor, but we love you.

Works well, and in fact it’s giving me just over 11% instead of 10. Just a shame you can’t stack them on orders – 10% isn’t a lot off of Zavvi’s prices.

I’ve got 4 codes! Thanks, Lewie.

Got 4 codes.
10% won’t be much without stacking, but any money saved is money that stays in my pocket. 😛

Still working – thanks!

Yeah, I’m surprised they haven’t tried to do anything to stop us abusing it.
I guess Zavvi/The Hut are happy about it. Sure they are having to discount stuff a lot, but their takings will be up for sure.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if it turns out that it’s Walkers who’s paying out in the end. After all, they are the ones that are enabling this short-cut. But then again, there isn’t a lot to get around (plus, even if they do block it, a bag of Walkers is probably less than what you’ll save on a full price game).

Still working, you need to do a questionnaire but it only has about 4 questions.
Thanks

As of 08.11.10 this trick no longer works. Tried it earlier today and there is no 10% off all items. Only a 20% off clothing etc. =(

Still working fine for me.

NOT working anymore 🙁
