Borderlands Game of the Year Edition (with four pieces of excellent DLC content) is coming out soon, so it is not worth buying this game right now unless you really have no intention of playing the DLC.
The steam version of the game also has achievements now so that’s worth mentioning with the GOTY coming out soon.
I already own it but even if I didn’t I wouldn’t get it from gfwl. I refuse to support such pathetic software, which damages pc gaming’s reputation more than supports it.
@joe – I’m right that the GWFLGOD version has Live Achievements, though, aren’t I? I care more about those than Steam ones, anyway, as I have no Steam Friends. (aww)
£5 for Borderlands is still rather good, even if it involves that hateful system.

You can get a second-hand copy off eBay relatively cheaply these days.
