I’m not sure it will register on Steam, GamersGate is annoying like that. Can’t confirm though, only from experience of other game from there.

See, I seem to remember Epic making all serials register on Steam for the Titan update.

It wasn’t mandatory as far as I know. I tried registering my retail copy on Steam but it wouldn’t take it bt the game works fine otherwise.

I can’t get mine to work either. Guessing they didn’t activate the other download keys. Shame, not sure if I can get my hands on that titan pack now 🙁

    according to steam support,

“Unreal Tournament 3 CD Keys (register on steam) in this format: 1AB2-3FGH-456I-K8LM”

So if gamersgate key is in that format then it should work fine on steam. If they don’t try contacting steam, they may honor it as they do advertise it as working.

Also anyone actually able to confirm if it works? I ain’t buying it unless I know.

I’d also be interested if someone can confirm keys work in Steam.

Nope – doesn’t register for me on steam. I presume there is a difference between the keys on retail versions and the keys with downloaded versions like the one from GG, even if the format is the same, and that Steam can tell which is which. Shame.

Can you still get the Titan pack?

I’m currently downloading the Titan Pack from Filefront (and the game is still downloading from GG) but I’m presuming there won’t be a problem – can’t see anything anywhere that suggests there will be.

I’ll post back once everything is downloaded and installed to confirm one way or the other.

It’s probably just me remembering wrong, I don’t know why, I thought it was steam exclusive, but if it’s on filefront you should be fine.

All installed and working fine from what I can see 🙂
