It’ll take a LONG time for the new edition to go down to a reasonable price anyway. For several months after the release of this one it was available as a digital download from the publisher at £40, then in a box. I expect the new one to be the same and won’t be picking it up until I’ve either got a great league lined up or it drops to <£20.
There is a new version of this coming out later this year with numerous bug fixes and 11 new teams, which will be incompatable with this version.
A bit bastardly (at least regarding the bugfixes and lack of back compatability), but at this price the old version is still fun.
