Worth noting this bit in the small print about when your beta code will be sent:
“BETA access keys will be emailed on a daily basis to customers who have preordered StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty from the proceeding day starting from 5/05/2010. (i.e. Purchase on Wednesday 5th May and a BETA access key will be emailed on Thursday 6th May after 6pm.”
Cheers for the head-up Lewie, ordered mine even though I was always terrible at Starcraft…
What about if we preordered it ages ago, will it still backdate from like last year to give me a beta key on 6th at 6pm ?
You should be fine. Let me know if you don’t get one.
Mine just arrived and registered on my battle.net account just fine. Thanks for the tip off!
Just got mine as well.
Maybe a possibility for a Savygamer game night in a couple of weeks?
Assuming you’re all as bad at it as I am that is…
Hah.
Now that the price across the online retailers has actually gone up to around 35 quid… I might not actually cancel this pre-order as I’d still get it £7 cheaper.
Well there you go. All praise to SavvyGamer!
Yeah, I just got my code too. Might do it as a game night some time soon.
Starcraft 2 official release date
Only in the UK. 🙁
Not really, I have preordered and am happily playing the beta.
Being from Poland and considering SC2 delivered will not cost me much more than bought here, I might even not cancel the preorder.
Yeah, my beta key arrived today as well 🙂
