Goozex.eu has sort of rebranded
Goozex.eu is now called “PlaySwap”
Although they still use the same web site, and it still looks and functions exactly the same…
Goozex, or now PlaySwap, is a trade network. Essentially, you offer games that you have and don’t want any ore, and request games that you would like. When someone requests a game of yours, you post it to them, and get “Points” for them. You then use those points to get games off other people. It’s a lot better than trade ins at game shops, but it is not a perfect system.
If any of you had used Goozex in the past, you may experienced not brilliant service. I stopped using the site for quite a while. People were exploiting the system, and the admins didn’t do very much. The values of items weren’t any way near fluid enough, and the database of games was based on USA releases, not UK ones.
Well, they have fixed some problems, but not all of them. The admins are doing a bit of a better job now, but the pricing of stuff still seems a bit off, and it is still using a USA database.
It’s still an OK service, and for this month all trades are free, so if you are interested, it’s worth a try.
