Get ready for the second load of Indie Games Festival nominees. This bundle covers from F to L. This list is a comprehensive compilation of the IGF nominees that are currently publicly available, either commercially, freeware, web, beta, or just as a demo.

Fatale
Belgian indie darlings Tale of Tales follow up The Path with Fatale, a first person interactive thing.

Cloud based puzzle game, you have to listen to a conversation and arrange clouds accordingly.

A multiplayer webgame with a philosophical edge.

Flywrench

The version of this submitted to the IGF is a brand new game, but it the old Freeware version is still available. It’s an excellent, but tough as nails game about flying through an obstacle course, very well presented, and will have you bashing your keyboard pretty hard. Surprised it wasn’t entered back when it first came out.

Frobot
Haha, “You are Frobot, the baddest robot in the galaxy! Your 5 robot girlfriends have been kidnapped, and it’s up to you to rescue them!”

Galcon
An arcadey realtime strategy set in space, looks very fast paced too.

GEAR
Another Digipen project, they do get about don’t they. This is a puzzle platformer, with what looks like a grappling hook!

Grappling Hook
Also featuring a grappling hook, this is a first person puzzle game that looks cool as hell.
Commercial with free demo (Even has 50% off until Monday the 9th of November)

Gratuitous Space Battles
Possibly the best named game in the IGF, this comes from indie veteran dev Cliff Harris. It’s a large scale intergalactic battle simulator, where all the gameplay is in designing, constructing and arranging your ships.

Gravmari
Katamari in space is probabaly the easiest way to describe this one.

Grey
Kickass web game. Turn the tide of a riot by pressing buttons on your keyboard.

Guns of Icarus
Post Apocolyptic steampunk shooty game. Comes in lots of flavours too.
Lite version (free), Full version (Commercial Windows/Mac) and web.

Hannibal: Rome and Carthage in the Second Punic War
Single player turn based strategy game.
Demo

Hazard – The Journey Of Life
This is a “first person single player environmental puzzle game”. Looks excellent, and is a UT3 mod. I knew there was a reason for getting UT3 cheap in the steam sale.

Very interesting idea here. It seems like some sort of procedural AI programming. Essentially the more people that play the game, the harder it gets.

This is a charity game, with all profit going to Penny-Arcade’s Child Play.

Use a crane and a bunch of junk to build a tower.

Another Digipen project. Play as an elephant on a floating island, growing trees.

Puzzle game where you have to guide creatures to the exit by sliding around the blocks that make up the levels.
