Early access to the L4D2 demo
The Left4Dead 2 demo is sorta only for people who preorder the game. Or at least, access to it now is, with it opening to the public in 2 weeks time.
However, if you go to gamestation, you can preorder it with no deposit, and no commitment to purchasing it from hem when it does come out. They will give you a card with a serial that you enter into the Xbox marketplace, or Steam, that lets you get the demo now.
Mine’s downloading now.
Update: Having played the demo through 3 times, I can safely say it is just like an expansion pack to the original L4D.
A very good, zombie filled, expansion pack, with lots of lovely weapons, and fun new ideas.
How exactly does the preordering work? If I add it to my basket and go to checkout I still see a price of 38 pounds listed…
Nevermind, apparently this actually involves going to the physical store. Not going to spend money on a trip across the canal just to get the L4D2 demo!
