I love you, man. Crysis was great when I played it a few months ago – I’m always amazed at how well that engine scales, despite the whining about needing a matrioshka brain to run it on high settings – and I was *this* close to paying £15-20 for a copy of Warhead.
Fantastic – not sure about the ea download manager rubbish, but too good to pass up at that price. Anyone know if it has DRM? It says I can back it up, but I’m guessing it still has the old activation limit nonsense…
Does the EA store actually work for anyone? I’ve tried several times now with card and paypal, firefox and IE. Each time it says it’s unable to process my order.
Thanks for showing me this, have been wanting this game for a while now and at £3.74 I couldn’t give it a miss. I’ve bought and paid for THIS game from the EA store without any problem at all, and it is downloading at the moment. However I also bought LotR: Conquest from there for the same price (if you use the voucher code) but I have no download link. I’ve sent EA an email and I hope to get a reply soon. Also, on the DRM front, I’ve heard that EA have released a tool that gets rid of the limited activations, if that helps.
