A cursory search of the internet implies that the Steam version does play nice with mods. Can anyone confirm/deny that for me?
Update: Seems mods work fine with the Steam version, thanks for everyone who confirmed that to me.
One of my favourite games but mods are pretty important to the enjoyment.
Confirmed, it works fine
Excellent. Then I’d recommend Stalker Complete for the first playthrough http://artistpavel.blogspot.com/2009/04/stalker-complete-2009.html (improves and visually upgrades the game, but stays true to the original experiance) and Oblivion Lost for the second/third/nth http://stalker.filefront.com/file/;89584 (massive overhaul).
