SavyGamer 2.0: This time it's personal
Welcome to the new look SavyGamer! It is officially no longer the most horrible looking site on the internet, smiles all around.
I decided to make the move to WordPress, and I think the end result is worth it. Sorry for downtime and technical troubles in the interlude whilst I was sorting out the complicated domain things (WHICH I NEVER WANT TO HAVE TO DO AGAIN).
As you can probably see, there are a few changes in how the site works. There is now a proper system for categorising the site’s content, and a pretty drop down menu thingy for picking them. Swish or what?
I am kind of new to WordPress, so all this is done from a little looking around on the internet. If you have any suggestions to make the site function better, please let me know. I’ll probably fiddle with a bit until I am happy with it, but this is basically what it will be like from now on.
The site may have changed, but the bargains are still the same.

Not a problem any more, I just created a mobile version of the site. Should run even better than the old one.

also, the rss isnt updating all the deals.
Seems to be working fine for me. Although it was only showing the last 10 posts, so I upped it to 40 which should be enough. I’ll keep an eye on it.
Edit: Wait, I wasn’t quite happy with the one I had. I’ll work on it a bit and do a news post when it is sorted.
You should get rid of the giant avatar and name at the end of single posts.
You should also consolidate the navigation bar at the very top with the navigation bar in blue, below the title. Two navigation bars seems a bit silly.
You should also complain to whoever decided that this theme should have a black background for a little bit, and then switch to white. Or maybe it’s just failed to load for me.
I’m on number 1 and 3, but the two bars are for distinctly different things, the top one is links to pages, the bottom on is links to categories. Makes more sense with how people use the site.

You really need to import all the old data into this new blog. Good luck with the new site, though
