I think I found a flaw in their plan there, second-hand copies of New Vegas can’t be used as the Steam activation code you get with it is one use only, unless they have a huge pile of games which haven’t been installed before which seems rather unlikely.
That’s my understanding of Steamworks anyhow.
Though it does also mean you flog off copies of New Vegas to them which you’ve already used the codes to, as you could just download it from there on out if you wanted to.

Yeah i never understood how that worked, always see steamworks games in CEX but i don’t understand how they can sell them because if the code hasn’t been used then they are as good as new. Can anyone explain how it works?

These are sealed (as indicated by the “S”), I should have noted this actually, since everything else they sell is used.

    Okay Lewie.
Hmm this still doesn’t explain how they can sell the unsealed steamworks games, they have been doing it for a long time and if they didnt come with a valid code there would be so many people complaining and they would catch on so i’m interested to see how they do this.

Still looks like they accept trade ins though!
It’d be nice if they made it clear anyhow.

Yeah, they are unclear but they don’t sell Steamworks games unsealed to my knowledge, and only accept them as trades when they are sealed too.

You’d think, still doesn’t excuse the lack of information though.

Might go in and ask tomorrow
