I get most new releases from cdkeys.com now, never once had an issue. I would also buy from key sites frequently enough, the only time Ive ever had an issue, steam just put up a notification saying “this key has been revoked sorry for the inconvenience”
I imagine there’s no way they would ban an entire steam account over 1 game anyway because if they started doing that , I imagine people would be distributing stolen keys all the time just to mess with people.
I am always a bit anxious to buy from these unauthorised distribution sites… on the other hand: 30 euro for Xcom 2 is an absolute steal.
So.. what is the likelihood of my entire steam account being banned for buying keys from sites like these?
Would appreciate some informed insight on this one.
I only post retailers to SavyGamer when I am confident that they offer good customer service.
I have never heard of anyone having their entire Steam account banned for using an unauthorised retailer.
I am aware of one instance where individual games bought from cdkeys.com were revoked, and they offered either replacement keys or refunds.
