Was surprised I didn’t get any points, until I read this:
“A code redeemable for 100 Microsoft Points will be sent to the email address provided at time of registration within 4–6 weeks after the offer end date, November 14, 2010.”
Just like the Halo Reach helmet I was supposed to get with my 12 month XBOX LIve subscription was to arrive in 4-6 weeks :/
* Offer is limited to new registrants aged 13 years or older at time of registration who are legal residents of the 50 United States (including Washington, D.C.).
So probably won’t work for UK peoples.
All they take is your email address.
It wants your windows live ID or whatever they call it now, which is associated to your xbox live account, which will let them know where you live!
Typical Microsoft not being browser friendly
Why do Microsoft always do this 4-6 weeks thing? Is it really so hard to get it sorted within a few days tops?
“All they take is your email address.”
which is tied to your xbox360 account
which is set up by regions
It will be region locked MS points, same as with the 100 MS point rewards from the bing bar.
Almost completely useless.
This will only work for a UK user if you’re registered to the US Xbox Live.
