I pre-ordered this from the same sellers for slightly more recently. Will they refund the new difference, or do I have to cancel and re-pre-order?

I believe the process is to cancel the old order and place a new one. Not actually done it myself.
I ended up emailing them and explaining the situation and they seemed happy to issue a refund of the difference.
Cool, glad you got it sorted.
