As it’s $4.99 from the developer, I think I’d rather get it from him, especially as he’s a great guy. I bought the Blackwell series from him, but lost the installs when my HDD failed. Sent him an email. 2 minutes later, he’d sent two emails, one to say no problem, and the other with the links to the games. Not to detract from the Steam thing, but I think it’s better to support the dev directly, plus I think it’s DRM free. The chioce, as they say Cilla, is yours.
Right you are, I intended to link to getting it straight from the dev too, it just slipped my mind. Added it now.
I think it might be around the same price and slightly cheaper too if you get the right exchange rate. I do kind of prefer having my own copy of the game, but it’s easy to lose the installs, so at least Steam keeps them in one place.
