It appears you can buy two versions: a steam gift or the pre-order version. Lewie’s link is directing to the pre-order version, at least for me.
With the pre-order version you don’t get your key directly, whereas with the steam gift it seems you do. The steam gift is also cheaper. I contacted them as I didn’t receive my key and received a generic mail stating that pre-order keys are generally send one day before release.
So, that might be the reason why some are not receiving their keys and others are. I sure hope pre-order keys are sent out eventually as well.
Purchased through paypal, asked about the code and got this back:
“The product you bought is a preorder. You’ll get your key normally 1 day before release. It could also be that you may get your link later. That depends on how much preorders there are. Please be patient.”
Hopefully I’ll get it before release.
Just like to also point out that under their terms and conditions they state that they will not be liable if the accounts of those people who use their keys are banned. Hence they may not be sourcing their keys from legitimate places.
The keys will be coming from the publisher, although they aren’t an authorized distributor, so who knows what happened between the publisher generating the key and the distributor selling it.
Lewie, have you used these people before?
They’re unfamiliar to me but a 71% discount is hard to ignore.
I recieved it as a steam gift, plus they have a good rep on trust pilot
Snagged one just in time, 5 mins later and they were out of stock
Stay away… I haven’t received my key and the customer service is non-existent. I have just opened a paypal dispute.
Well I took the plunge, bought via credit card so if anything does go awry I can claim it back, but I sure hope it’s legit!
I got the Steam Gift version from them, bit skeptical at first but it’s now sat in my library, ludicrously good deal, thanks Lewie!
