£10 Steam credit – £5 collect in store
Mightydeals will currently sell you a £10 Curry’s gift voucher for £5 here. These are one per Mightydeals account, but if you create multiple Mightydeals accounts, you can purchase many gift cards. I’ve sent you to the mobile site, because that’s the only way to use paypal for payments, and any other payment method they appear to be blocking after you’ve used the same card a certain number of times.
You can use multiple gift cards in one transaction, essentially meaning you can get anything that Curry’s sell for half price. I have confirmed this myself.
It takes 24 hours for Mightydeals to send you your gift voucher, and although the instructions say you need to print it out, just displaying the gift card number on your phone will suffice.
I have no idea if/when Mightydeals will run out of gift vouchers, and whilst the Curry’s I used had no problem stacking multiple gift cards, I guess it’s possible your branch might.
Is it possible to get this deal outside UK?

No reason to think you can’t use this giftcard to buy a steam card (or any other giftcard they sell) and I can’t see any conditions in their giftcard t&c’s that limit what you can buy with them.
That said, be nice to get confirmation that this works in-store before I splash the cash!

I went into my local store this morning “to enquire” but couldn’t get a straight answer unless I presented the actual gift card/voucher itself (which obviously I won’t buy unless I know it works!)
Looking forward to seeing what happens.
FWIW, I went to the one in Braehead, Glasgow and they didn’t have any Steam vouchers at all despite the shop assistant telling me it’s the biggest store in Scotland. I’ve managed to reserve one at a more local store for tomorrow and I’ll check then.

Ah yeah, sorry. I forgot to update this post. Confirmed working. I got £20 Steam credit for two £10 vouchers.
Yep, I just got mine as well. You’ll probably have to reserve online since Steam cards don’t seem to be on display in many stores. Also be wary of buying multiple vouchers with the same card. I only went for two, but the second one didn’t come through and was refunded automatically a few days later without any notice.
Same thing happened to me as Fulvio. created two different accounts on MD but used the same PayPal. One was refunded, the other, not.
My local Currys are complete asshats. They were unable to scan the barcode off my phone, so now I have to find a printer to print the damn voucher off…
Come to think of it, I have tried to buy an iTunes card instore at Currys once with a giftcard and was refused. They said they can only be used on ‘physical product’.
So try it by all means but I reckon they’ll say no
Avoid this you will just be wasting your time getting a refund if you order it
This also worked for me. It took 24 hours to get the code emailed through, then I took it into the store and got my Steam card. I think there’s about 3 days left on this, though they may just keep renewing it…
NOTE: this may just be the typical Cambridge customer service attitude, but the cashier got really moody about having to type the number in from my phone, so if you want to save yourself some earache you may want to print the voucher out.
I’m currently investigating this situation, I’ll hopefully have a update for you all by the end of today.
I am fairly confident that worst case scenario is going to be getting a full refund.
