Registers on uPlay.
Update: I have been unable to confirm whether this will be in Russian only.

Are you sure it’s not only in Russian ? There is often language lock, at least on steam.
Well the temptation was too much. I have tried it and it went through on my account. Do they bill immediately?I forgot I still had an old credit card on this, but couldn’t read the Russian messages. However when I logged into my account I can now see in my purchase history Watchdogs for the amount of rubles as the order went through – I edited the payment details to my new credit card. Now just wondering when they will charge me or whether it will fail…
This one working @ 8am 12/04 GMT
Copied and pasted the Russian in to Google Translate 🙂
Won’t this just register in Origin once the transaction is completed? Sounds silly, but I’d like it in uPlay
Apparently this game requires uPlay anyway so I’m guessing when you load from Origin it will load uPlay too. Still, you can’t argue at this price, worked fine for me although it came to £17.40 for the Deluxe edition. Cheers again Lewie!
This website used to be great, now it’s mainly shady deals, people stealing and reselling keys, and now this… circumnavigating blocks and buying from Russian sites? Really? I’ll stick to gamedeals on reddit from now on.
I don’t see your problem, its not ‘mainly shady deals’ at all.
The site used to be great?
When it contained regular deals?
Well it still contains regular deals but now all these great deals are listed AS WELL.
And it’s not like anyone is forcing you to partake in any deals that you’re not comfortable with now is it?
Amen.
There are loads of other deal sites that wont post this sort of stuff for one simple reason, it’s dodgy and they have a sense of ethics.
I will stick to those from now on, this is getting more and more and really is distasteful.
Oh look here mr self-righteous, look what reddit are posting….
http://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/1ohy1r/origin_mexico_battlefield_4_premium_2831_2281/
Oh dear oh dear oh dear, where are you going to look for your game deals now?
Agreed. It’s sad to see savygamer going this way and I personally visit it less and less.
That’s a massive entitled generalisation, Matt.
Exploiting currency values is dodgy?
You must have money to spare then.
Is it Russia generally that makes you uncomfortable, or just buying from a website in the Russian language?
Stick to Reddit. You’ll get more upvotes 🙂
So I managed to have it registered in Origin. How do Register it also in Uplay? Is it possible to check in Uplay if the language is only Russian?
I think you need to install it via Origin once it is out, then it will boot up uPlay when you first launch it, and automatically add it to your uPlay account.
@Matt
Please shut up. This has been all discussed adnauseum. If there is a hole in the system you should exploit it. That is what lawyers do, and since the whole concept of globalization, digital distribution and local prices with markets which can absorb such and such costs is based on capitalism and exploitation of your poorer neighbour what Lewie is doing is admirable.
Thank you Lewie!
The wonderful irony is all this faffing about just to get a deal will end up being far more exciting than the game itself.
Jeez when did people become so ethical about game deals? It’s better than pirating it. Living on a budget while in school, this is the only way I would pay for this so thanks for posting.
Dodgy? This is the Internet.
It is dodgy to try to set up borders in the Internet. All this regulations are going so wrong. Big Companys stoped caring about borders long ago and I now you have the technology at hand to do so yourself and you believe it is wrong.
If they are charging less in Russia for the same game then… feck em.. why should we pay more then them. Fair pricing across all regions would eliminate the need for this.
They are just having to face that fact that we live in a connected world and charging inconsistently will not work any more.
Thanks for listing these deals… any naysayers can bugger off to other sites…. or you know not partake in these deals.
Because maybe people in other countries earn less as inflation rates are not as high as others.
And why should they pay less for the EXACT same thing because of that? If the dev can sell at a low price there then they should be prepared to do so everywhere else, that or offer more for your money.
You know, until the game releases and you click to run it, and origin then launches UPlay, you’re not going to know for sure whether the code will be accepted. There could be some region check on UPlay that isn’t there on origin.
Now as long as you’re willing to take that risk, that’s fine, and for the record I don’t have problem with Lewie listing this deal. Lewie is just providing the information, it’s up to your judgement whether the risk is worth it.
I agree – loopholes are there to be used.
Don’t forget that the digital platforms are a HUGE rip off – we pay as much if not more than retail prices for digital bits & bytes. Years ago, the publishers said they looked forward towards the digital medium and that it would lead to lower and fairer prices – NOTHING of that was true. Publishers have been ripping us off left and right, pocketing the huge profits from digital sales (70% or more profit instead of 10-15% from retail sales) without giving ANY back to the gamers.
No, instead they artificially inflate prices across the globe. And some of you call it shady to refuse to bend over for their greedy schemes?
Well, you know it kinda has lead to cheaper prices if you think about it. Just not on new games bought directly through Steam/Origin/UPlay. But if you buy a key through a 3rd party instead you can get your new games often for £25 or less and sometimes even under £20 (as here with Watch Dogs, or Thief I got on release day for £15), and of course the prices on old games are way lower now the bricks and mortar retailers aren’t dictating prices. It’s reached the point where within 6 months of release there’s usually a 75% off deal.
Digital and the whole concept of being able to sell just a key, has definitely lead to much lower prices here in the UK (maybe not so much in the US?) thanks to competition in the digital marketplace. Just don’t buy new games through Steam.
You guys are not getting it, right? The prices in Russia, Mexico etc. are so low because otherwise people wouldn’t buy it. They can’t afford it, because they have 10 times less money than you, even way less than students in the industry countries.
If you keep exploiting this kind of shit Origin/Steam will change the price in these countries and nobody will buy these games anymore. You are destroying the markets.
You are making me sick. Fucking idiots.
The miniscule percentage of buyers that jump through all of these hoops instead of chucking out 300% more on Steam is not going to change the purchasing power of video games in other countries.
A much easier and a lot smarter solution to your proposed issue is to simply make games purchased in other regions unplayable in whatever your region is. It has been done before. Since it is not being done now one would rightly assume that it is not much of an issue for publishers.
Just bought this (18/04) via the Russian Origin store. I successfully bought and played Titanfall from the Mexican Origin store (it used to be cheaper than the Indian store when it was still in Mexican Pesos, looks like they’ve implemented USD prices on there now) so I have no reason to doubt that this will work. Thanks Lewie!
After looking at other similar cases on the internet it seems as if buying through Russian Origin gets you Russian language only, however there may or may not be files you can swap out to get English language, assuming it’s only text and subtitles that are Russian. For example there’s a forum thread where people in Ukraine and Belarus are complaining about how their ME3 is RU only and Origin refuses to help them. (http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/344/index/9582635/1).
I can confirm this is indeed in Russian language only. There are fixes out there to change the text to English (check out Youtube) but it seems impossible to properly change the audio to English. This coupled with the fact that you have to use Uplay (which is god awful and freezes the system) means this deal wasn’t all that great in the general scheme of things. £17 down the drain. Thanks for posting anyway, I appreciate the offers but I’ll be wary of buying off foreign stores in the future using VPNs.
Bought this and got the Russian version. There is a video on Youtube that shows you how to switch it to English – unfortunately you’l have to get the English sound files, but the video has links to them.

Confirmed this does work (its around £21 now) but it is the Russian language version. Follow the steps in the youtube link Andre provided though and you can get hold of the English sound and data files easily enough. For all those complaining about people using this loophole, do you really think that Origin etc. are selling it at a loss in Russia just because people can’t afford as much? They still make profit, for the exact same game downloaded from the exact same servers. There is no justification for charging UK players over twice the price for a digital version of something. THATS the real exploit – just because the majority of people CAN pay more than those in Russia, doesn’t mean we should be forced to.
hey thanks a lot, used your method. usually i would buy the keys from random russian sites they were always so shady
