I would assume so. Now that it is easy to redeem codes on Uplay, these purchases seem to be much more attractive these days. It used to be that you’d have to download from some store link.
I haven’t purchased this game through here as I already own it, but I’d wager that you’d get a code which activates in the Uplay client. (Click the cog in the top right and click ‘activate product’ to input the code. It should activate in a similar way to the way Steam does)
