Update: It has been brought to my attention by Mike Rose that part of the proceeds of this bundle are going to a politician’s campaign funds, should that affect your purchasing decision.
EA games in an “indie” bundle, going to fund partisan politics? What fresh hell is this?
Part of me thinks this is pure genius on the part of Indie Gala. I bet normally people give a lot of money to charities and little indie developers from these bundles so they’ve replaced the indie developers with EA and the charities with a random politician in Vancouver. Who will you give your money to now consumers, huh?
Actually the politician doesn’t seem too bad at first glance but why the heck would I, as a British expat in Sweden, want to give money to a Vancouver politician I know almost nothing about?
